The Interior Design Assistant Certificate provides the student with broad knowledge of the interior design profession and careers therein. Entry level skills will be acquired to serve as an assistant to a commercial or residential interior designer, or merchandising in a retail setting. This certificate lays the foundation for acquiring the Associate of Science Interior Design Degree or the Commercial Interior Design Certificate and/or Residential Design Certificate. This certificate requires the completion of 22 units. A grade of C or better is required for all courses taken.
