The Sports Nutrition Certificate will provide students with knowledge and skills important for entry-level positions in a variety of nutrition, health and fitness settings, such as recreational centers, health care clinics, wellness programs, exercise facilities, health food and supplement businesses, and athletic organizations. The certificate can also be used to help those already in the field of nutrition further develop their expertise in the area of sports nutrition. The certificate requires a total of 16-19 units. A grade of C or better is required in each course taken.
