The Fashion Skills Certificate is designed to provide the student with a course of study leading to fast employment in the fashion apparel industry. This skills certificate requires 14 units, all of which are required courses. A grade of C or better is required in each course taken.

Outcome 1: Demonstrate an understanding of the design and construction of apparel by creating 5 different garment patterns on the computer to assemble a 5 piece fashion outfit.

Outcome 2: Illustrate and create a technical package for an apparel line manufactured overseas.

Outcome 3: Create a design plan to communicate the development of a 5 piece collection.
