Graduation and Commencement
In order to earn an associate degree or associate degree for transfer, a graduation application should be submitted by the published deadline once final degree requirements have been completed or are in progress. Degrees are conferred at the end of the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. Refer to Associate Degree Graduation Requirementsfor more information on the requirements to earn a degree.
Participation in the commencement ceremony is optional and separate from the degree conferral process. Commencement exercises are held each year at the end of the Spring term. Detailed information about the ceremony will be sent to all graduation candidates during the Spring term by the Student Life and Leadership Office.
Diplomas are mailed approximately three months after graduation. A student does not need to attend the commencement ceremony to receive their degree or diploma nor are diplomas distributed at the ceremony.
