Honors at Graduation
- The honors designation for graduation is based on the cumulative grade point average (GPA) of all attempted lower-division coursework, including all courses completed at Fullerton College and all other institutionally accredited colleges the student has attended. This determination is made during the final evaluation of a student’s records at the time the associate degree is conferred.
- Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher (excluding non-degree credit courses) will graduate with honors. High honors are awarded to students who achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher (also excluding non-degree credit courses).
- Grades earned during the spring term are not included in the GPA calculation for the graduation ceremony but will be used in determining the final honors designation recorded on the diploma.
