Disability Support Services (DSS)
Cypress College is committed to ensuring that programs and activities are accessible to students with disabilities. Disability Support Services (DSS) has been established to provide supportive services to students with documented disabilities, including learning disabilities, visual, hearing, physical, mental health, acquired brain injuries, and other medical disabilities. Services are provided in compliance with state and federal legislation to support students with disabilities in meeting their educational and vocational goals.
Qualifying students may receive the following services and accommodations:
- Adaptive equipment
- Alternative testing
- Interpreting services
- Learning disability assessment
- Note-taking assistance
- Registration assistance
- Specialized counseling and program planning
Other services and accommodations are provided as needed.
