Conflict Resolution Certificate

The Conflict Resolution Certificate offers those entering or working in human services the opportunity to examine and practice a variety of communication skills useful in the resolution of conflict. To earn a certificate, complete the required courses as listed with a grade of C or better. At least 50% of all course work must be completed at Cypress College. This certificate requires a total of 15 units.

Program Student Learning Outcomes:

OUTCOME 1: Acquire the workforce preparation skills, knowledge, and competencies including a variety of communication skills useful in the resolution of conflict within business, management, treatment facilities, client and personal interactions, victimology, and cross-cultural settings necessary for entry-level employment and/or career advancement in business, treatment facilities, social work, and mediation.
