This Automotive Technology - Electrical Diagnostic Specialist Certificate is designed to prepare students for employment as automotive electrical system diagnostic specialists. Coursework includes the theory and operation of electrical systems, the use of test instruments, and skill competency in electrical system diagnosis and repair. The program will allow the student to acquire the knowledge and skills demanded of the modern automotive electrical system specialist. To earn a certificate, complete the courses listed below with a minimum grade of C or better. At least 50% of all coursework must be completed at Cypress College. This certificate requires a total of 13.5-16 units.
